We may share your personal information with:

  • Shopify, as our e-commerce platform provider

  • Service providers that help us operate our business, including payment processing, shipping, analytics and customer support

  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (operating Facebook and Instagram), as our advertising partner, for the purposes of delivering targeted advertising, measuring campaign performance, and optimising our advertising spend. This includes data shared via the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and Advanced Matching. Meta acts as an independent data controller for the data it receives. For more information, see Section 7 of this Privacy Policy.

  • Marketing and advertising partners, where legally permitted and subject to your preferences

  • Authorities or legal entities when required to comply with legal obligations or to protect our rights

All third parties process personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

6. Relationship with Shopify

Our Services are hosted by Shopify Inc., which collects and processes personal information necessary to provide and improve its services.

As part of operating an international e-commerce store, personal information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence. Shopify and its partners ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

More information about Shopify's privacy practices can be found at: https://privacy.shopify.com

7. Use of Meta Technologies (Pixel, Conversions API and Advanced Matching)

Meta Pixel

Our website uses the Meta Pixel (also referred to as the Facebook Pixel), a tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta"). The Meta Pixel allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising by recording actions visitors take on our website, such as page views, product views, add-to-cart events, and completed purchases.

The data collected by the Meta Pixel is transmitted to Meta and may be used by Meta to show you advertising across its platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and to build custom and lookalike audiences.

Meta Conversions API

In addition to the browser-based Pixel, we use the Meta Conversions API (server-side tracking). This technology sends certain event data (such as purchase confirmations) directly from our servers to Meta, independently of browser activity. This improves measurement reliability and reduces dependence on browser cookies.

Data transmitted via the Conversions API may include IP address, browser information, and event data associated with actions taken on our website.

Advanced Matching

We have enabled Advanced Matching, a feature that allows certain personal data you provide to us (such as your email address, name, and phone number) to be transmitted to Meta in hashed (encrypted) form. This helps Meta match website events to Facebook and Instagram users more accurately, improving the attribution of conversions to our advertising campaigns.

Although the data is hashed before transmission, it nonetheless constitutes personal data under applicable data protection law. Advanced Matching is only applied to data you have voluntarily provided to us, for example when placing an order.

Legal Basis for Processing

The use of Meta technologies involves the processing of personal data. Where required by applicable law (including the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): for the placement of tracking cookies and the use of the Meta Pixel for advertising and retargeting purposes. You may withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your cookie preferences.

  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): for server-side conversion measurement via the Conversions API, where our interest in understanding the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns is not overridden by your privacy rights.

Your Rights and Opt-Out Options

You may limit or opt out of interest-based advertising from Meta through the following means:

Please note that opting out of interest-based advertising does not prevent you from seeing advertising; it limits our ability to show you relevant ads based on your activity.

Meta as Independent Data Controller

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. acts as an independent data controller for data it receives through its technologies. We are not responsible for Meta's data processing practices. For more information about how Meta processes personal data, please review Meta's Privacy Policy at: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/

8. Third-Party Websites

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the legal age of majority. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Data Security and Retention

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing activities, and to withdraw consent for marketing communications.

Requests to exercise these rights can be made by contacting us at info@atisstudio.com.

12. International Data Transfers

As we operate internationally, your personal information may be transferred, stored and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including countries outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or equivalent mechanisms under applicable law.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements or operational needs. Any updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
